Black Engraving

One of the first products Magpie started to make was engraved glasses. We are able to engrave anything onto glass but as you can see by image 1 the results aren't the easiest to see. The finish was a faint grey which was hard to read depending on the light or the colour of liquid inside.
After much trail and error we can now produce a rich dark black image that is visible at all times.
The black is created by a chemical reaction that fuses into the glass. It is dishwasher safe and will never wash off, unlike other image transfers or vinyl stickers.
Considering neither of us were any good at chemistry in school we are quite happy with ourselves.
